2017 Verrier Saperavi

Saperavi is an ancient red grape variety native to Georgia in the Black sea area.

This is a deeply coloured and rich red wine with unique spicy dark cherry & earthy characters.

Saperavi matches with the sauce / marinade profile of food almost more than the meat. Anything with a good dose of garlic & herbs is usually a winner!
